About the role
The Store Keeper will be responsible for planning, monitoring and controlling critical inventory items at Amelia Coal Mine. The role involves daily oversight of stock levels, monthly reviews, and annual identification of obsolete items, ensuring material availability for mining operations while minimizing spoilage.
Key responsibilities
- Plan and monitor critical inventory daily; review monthly stock levels and identify obsolete items annually.
- Process purchase orders, follow up with local suppliers, and issue materials based on requisition slips.
- Prepare monthly MIS reports, cost sheets, block and repair statements, and ensure timely submission to accounts.
- Maintain store layout, segregate hazardous and perishable items, and oversee bill passing, GRN segregation, and purchase order verification.
