Store Executive – Inventory & Dispatch Management

About the role

The Store Executive will be responsible for managing all store, inventory, material receipt, storage, issuance and dispatch activities at our Nashik facility. The role ensures accurate records, timely material availability for production, and smooth coordination with purchase, vendors, transporters and production teams.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain accurate stock records, conduct regular physical audits and reconcile discrepancies.
• Receive, inspect, verify and store incoming materials, ensuring proper labeling and FIFO handling.
• Issue materials to the shop floor against authorized documentation and dispatch finished goods as required.
• Monitor stock levels, generate purchase requisitions and follow up with the Purchase Department for replenishment.
• Prepare daily, weekly and monthly inventory and dispatch reports and maintain ERP/SAP transactions.
• Maintain cleanliness, 5S standards and oversee bandsaw machine maintenance, including preventive tasks and production reporting.
• Coordinate with vendors, suppliers and transporters to ensure timely deliveries.
• Report shortages, excess stock, damaged materials and operational issues to the Plant Head.

Required profile

• Graduate in any discipline; logistics, supply‑chain or stores management qualification is a plus.
• 3–5 years overall experience in logistics, supply chain or stores, with at least 1–3 years in store/inventory management.
• Strong knowledge of inventory management, stock control and material handling procedures.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with good problem‑solving and organizational skills.

Required skills

• Working knowledge of ERP/SAP or similar inventory management software.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and MS Word.
