Store Associate

About the role

The Store Associate is responsible for planning, controlling and optimizing day‑to‑day store operations at Ibis Bengaluru Hosur Road. The role ensures accurate inventory, coordinates with all hotel departments and supports a safe, efficient environment for guests and staff.

Key responsibilities

• Take regular stock counts and monitor inventory against standards.
• Plan, direct and control daily store activities, including ordering and receiving goods.
• Coordinate with finance to approve inventory levels and track lead‑times.
• Check expiry dates, discard non‑conforming items and maintain proper stock rotation (FIFO/FEFO).
• Maintain detailed records of goods received, issued, approved and rejected.
• Motivate and develop the store team, ensuring safety training and teamwork.
• Review store performance to reduce spoilage, wastage and improve material handling.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Hotel Management, Supply Chain, Logistics or related field.
• 1–2 years of experience in stores, inventory, materials management or procurement, preferably in hospitality.
• Good knowledge of inventory management, stock control and expiry management.
