Store Associate

About the role

The Store Associate will work full‑time on‑site at Lemon Tree Hotel Ranchi, overseeing daily store operations that support the hotel’s various departments. This position ensures that all goods are received, recorded, stored, and issued efficiently while maintaining a clean and organized store environment.

Key responsibilities

• Receive, check, and store incoming goods and supplies.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and monitor stock levels.
• Organise stock rooms and ensure proper stock rotation.
• Assist with regular stock audits and reconcile discrepancies.
• Issue supplies to hotel departments in accordance with requisitions.
• Coordinate with purchasing and operations teams to ensure smooth supply flow.
• Adhere to hotel standards, safety protocols, and hygiene requirements.

Required profile

• Effective verbal and written communication for cross‑department coordination.
• Basic knowledge of store management, inventory control, and concepts such as FEFO and LIFO.
• Strong attention to detail and basic numerical skills for accurate record‑keeping.
• Prior experience in stores or inventory control within hospitality or related sectors is preferred.
• Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting and organising stock.
• Minimum high school diploma; vocational training or certification in storekeeping, retail, or hospitality is a plus.

Required skills

• Familiarity with basic computer applications.
• Experience with inventory software such as Prologic.
