Store Associate – Inventory & Stock Management

About the role

The Store Associate supports the Purchase Manager in maintaining optimal stock levels for the ibis Mumbai Vikhroli property. You will ensure that all goods are stored correctly, comply with HACCP standards, and are issued with proper documentation.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Purchase Manager to monitor and adjust inventory levels.
• Ensure proper storage conditions, temperature control, and shelf‑life management.
• Process requisitions, verify signatures, and maintain accurate issuance records.
• Follow HACCP procedures and keep clear, up‑to‑date records.
• Oversee overall store maintenance, security, and prevent unauthorized access.
• Coordinate with all hotel departments to supply materials efficiently.
• Identify slow‑moving or non‑moving items, reduce spoilage, and recommend optimal inventory levels.
• Handle spoilage or damaged items according to standard procedures.
• Check expiry dates, discard expired goods, and maintain proper stock documentation.
• Support health, safety, and environmental policies within the store area.

Required profile

• Strong coordination and cooperation skills with all hotel departments.
• Ability to support and motivate team members for efficient service delivery.
• Experience in financial oversight of store operations, including stock reviews and cost‑effective resource use.
• Attention to detail for record‑keeping, expiry monitoring, and compliance with safety standards.
• Commitment to maintaining a secure, organized, and safe storeroom environment.
