Store Assistant

About the role

The Store Assistant supports daily warehouse operations in a production environment. The role involves managing inventory, handling materials, coordinating dispatches, and maintaining accurate documentation to ensure smooth workflow.

Key responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and store incoming materials while maintaining accurate manual and digital stock records.
• Conduct regular stock checks, physical verification, and report any shortages, damages, or excess inventory.
• Prepare materials for dispatch, including packing, labeling, and assisting with loading and unloading.
• Verify dispatch documents such as invoices and challans to ensure correct delivery.
• Issue materials to the production team on time and track movement of digital signage components.
• Maintain Goods Receipt Note (GRN) entries and update inward/outward stock records.
• Generate daily or weekly stock reports using Excel or inventory management software.
• Keep the store clean, organized, and follow safety procedures, reporting damaged items promptly.

Required profile

• Basic computer knowledge and ability to work with Excel or similar inventory tools.
• Strong attention to detail and disciplined time management.
• Ability to work effectively in a team and coordinate tasks.
• Physical capability to handle material handling tasks.
