Store Assistant – Inventory Management (Ankleshwar)

About the role

We are looking for a diligent Store Assistant to support our fast‑growing retail and distribution operations in Ankleshwar. You will play a key part in ensuring smooth material flow, accurate inventory records and compliance with ISO standards.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and assist with loading and unloading of materials, ensuring safety and proper documentation.
• Monitor receipts, issues and dispatches, verifying against GRNs, challans and issue slips.
• Maintain accurate inventory records in ERP/software and reconcile them with physical stock.
• Conduct regular stock audits, prepare inventory reports and alert on shortages or aging stock.
• Coordinate with storekeepers, dispatch teams, production, vendors and transporters for timely material availability.
• Support internal and external audits by providing precise inventory data.
• Suggest process improvements to enhance store efficiency.

Required profile

• 1–2 years of experience in store operations, inventory management or material handling.
• Bachelor’s degree in any discipline.
• Local candidate willing to commute daily to Ankleshwar.

Required skills

• Proficiency with ERP/inventory management software such as Tally, SAP or Oracle.
• Strong organizational and coordination abilities.
• Attention to detail in documentation and reporting.
• Effective communication for vendor and internal liaison.
