Store Assistant – Ankleshwar

About the role

We are seeking a diligent Store Assistant to join our fast‑growing retail and distribution operation in Ankleshwar. You will play a key part in ensuring smooth material flow, accurate inventory records, and compliance with ISO standards across both B2B and B2C channels.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and assist with loading and unloading of materials, ensuring safe handling and proper documentation.
• Monitor material receipts, issues, and dispatches, verifying against GRNs, challans, and issue slips.
• Maintain accurate inventory records in ERP/software and reconcile them with physical stock.
• Conduct regular stock audits to prevent mismatches and shortages.
• Prepare daily/weekly inventory reports, including stock aging, reorder levels, and shortage alerts.
• Ensure ISO‑compliant record keeping: inward/outward registers, bin cards, and ledgers.
• Coordinate with storekeepers, dispatch teams, and production departments for timely material availability.
• Liaise with vendors and transporters to ensure smooth material movement and delivery.
• Support internal and external audits by providing accurate inventory data.
• Recommend process improvements to enhance store efficiency.

Required profile

• Strong organizational and coordination abilities.
• Ability to supervise material handling and enforce safety compliance.
• Basic understanding of inventory control principles.
• 1–2 years of experience in store operations, inventory management, or material handling.
• Bachelor’s degree in any discipline.
• Local candidate willing to commute daily to Ankleshwar.

Required skills

• Proficiency with ERP/inventory management software such as Tally, SAP, or Oracle.
