About the role
This full-time, on-site position in Chennai involves welcoming guests, presenting menus, taking food and beverage orders, and serving dishes and drinks promptly and accurately.
Key responsibilities
- Maintain clean, organized tables and service areas, and set up for buffet arrangements or special events.
- Coordinate with kitchen staff, handle guest queries and feedback, and assist with billing and table turnover.
- Follow hygiene and safety standards and adhere to standard operating procedures.
Required profile
- Strong customer-service orientation with the ability to handle feedback professionally.
- Effective communication skills for interacting with guests and team members.
- Basic knowledge of food & beverage service, menu items, and hygiene standards.
- Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays, and stand for extended periods.
- Minimum high school education; hospitality certification is a plus.
