Statutory Audit

About the role

We are seeking a qualified auditor to lead statutory and external audit engagements in line with IFRS and relevant auditing standards. The role involves close collaboration with clients and internal teams to deliver high‑quality audit results on time.

Key responsibilities

• Plan audit engagements, perform risk assessments and design substantive testing procedures.
• Execute analytical procedures and review financial statements, reconciliations, schedules and supporting documentation.
• Prepare and maintain comprehensive audit working papers and documentation.
• Identify audit issues, discuss findings with clients and support the resolution process.
• Coordinate with clients and internal teams to ensure timely delivery of audit deliverables.
• Assist in the preparation and review of financial statements and audit reports.
• Maintain audit quality, accuracy and ensure assignments are completed within agreed timelines.

Required profile

• Relevant degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• Professional experience in statutory or external audit.
• Strong understanding of IFRS and applicable auditing standards.
• Excellent analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Effective communication skills for client interaction.
