Stationary Turbine Design Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a Mechanical Engineer specialized in stationary turbine design to join our Hazira manufacturing complex. You will translate conceptual turbine designs into detailed, manufacturable components for steam turbine projects.

Key responsibilities

• Develop detailed engineering of stationary turbine components such as outer and inner casings, diaphragms, steam chambers, pedestals and bearing housings.
• Prepare and issue engineering documentation including manufacturing drawings, 3D models, Bill of Materials, interface control documents, design data sheets and technical deviation reports.
• Perform strength and structural analysis of turbine components using ANSYS and OEM‑specific simulation platforms.
• Collaborate with project teams to ensure timely delivery of engineering deliverables aligned with project milestones.

Required profile

• Bachelor of Technology (BTech) in Mechanical or related engineering discipline.
• 2–5 years of experience in turbine or heavy‑industry component design.
• Proven ability to work on detailed design and documentation for large‑scale engineering projects.

Required skills

• ANSYS for structural and strength analysis.
• 3D modeling and CAD tools (AutoCAD, other 3D design software).
• Detail design and preparation of manufacturing drawings and BOMs.
