Staff Software Engineer, Security Platform

As a Staff Software Engineer on the Security Platform Engineering team you will design and build core security services that protect billions of dollars of digital assets.

Key responsibilities

• Architect and develop scalable security platform services using Golang and Java.
• Define strategic roadmaps in partnership with management and stakeholders.
• Design cloud‑native systems that solve novel security and compliance problems.
• Mentor engineers, enforce coding standards and drive technical excellence.
• Own project priorities, deadlines and deliverables, ensuring operational integrity.
• Review cross‑team designs for security, safety, scalability and architectural clarity.

Required profile

• 8+ years of software engineering experience building production services.
• Proven ability to design, scale and maintain service‑oriented architectures.
• Strong written and verbal communication with a bias toward transparency.
• Passion for building an open financial system.
• Experience writing high‑quality, well‑tested code.
