Staff Nurse – Patient Care

About the role

Apollo Hospitals is seeking a dedicated Staff Nurse to join its patient care team. The role involves delivering high‑quality nursing services to patients across various departments, ensuring safety, comfort, and effective treatment.

Key responsibilities

• Record medical history, symptoms, and maintain accurate patient charts.
• Administer medications, treatments, and perform point‑of‑care tests.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement nursing care plans.
• Conduct comprehensive nursing assessments and monitor patient health status.
• Provide bedside care, education, and emotional support to patients and their families.
• Maintain inventory of medical supplies and ensure proper use of equipment.
• Operate and care for medical equipment according to protocols.
• Participate in regular in‑service education and training sessions.

Required profile

• Graduate in GNM Nursing, BSc Nursing, or MSc Nursing with first‑division marks in 10th, 12th, and nursing qualifications.
• 3 months to 5 years of relevant nursing experience.
• Strong interpersonal and communication abilities.
• Team‑oriented mindset with initiative and moral support for patients.
