Staff Nurse – Operation Theatre (OT)

About the role

KJK Hospital is seeking an experienced Staff Nurse to join its Operation Theatre (OT) team. You will provide safe, high‑quality peri‑operative nursing care to patients before, during, and after surgery while collaborating closely with surgeons, anaesthetists, and other OT staff.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare patients for surgery and deliver comprehensive peri‑operative nursing care.
• Set up and maintain a sterile OT environment, including instruments, equipment, and supplies.
• Act as scrub and circulating nurse, assisting surgeons and anaesthetists during minor and major procedures.
• Monitor patients’ vital signs and document nursing care accurately throughout the surgical process.
• Follow hospital protocols for infection control, patient safety, and OT documentation.

Required profile

• GNM or BSc Nursing with a valid registration (mandatory).
• Minimum of 3 years dedicated OT experience in a hospital setting.
• Strong knowledge of sterile techniques, OT equipment, and peri‑operative nursing practices.
• Effective communication skills and ability to work within a multidisciplinary team.
