About the role
We are seeking a dedicated Staff Nurse to join our oncology department, providing high-quality care to patients undergoing chemotherapy and radiation therapy. The role involves direct patient interaction, medication administration, and collaboration with the treating oncologist.
Key responsibilities
- Monitor and care for patients during chemotherapy and radiation sessions.
- Administer IV medications, chemotherapy agents, and supportive care treatments.
- Maintain accurate patient records and report clinical observations to the oncologist.
- Provide counseling to patients and families regarding treatment protocols and care plans.
Required profile
- B.Sc Nursing or GNM qualification from a recognised institute.
- Valid registration with the State Nursing Council.
- 1–3 years of nursing experience; oncology experience is an advantage.
- Strong communication skills in Telugu and/or English.
Required skills
- IV medication administration.
- Chemotherapy drug preparation and administration.
- Patient monitoring during oncology treatments.
- Medical record documentation and reporting.
