Staff Nurse (Nursing Officer)

About the role

We are seeking a dedicated Staff Nurse (Nursing Officer) to join our nursing department. The role involves delivering high‑quality patient care, administering medications, and supporting clinical teams in a hospital setting.

Key responsibilities

• Administer prescribed medication and monitor patient responses.
• Provide nursing care in line with established clinical practice standards.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure efficient patient care delivery.
• Participate actively in quality‑improvement programs and continuous quality assurance activities.
• Maintain a safe environment by enforcing infection‑control policies.
• Conduct initial patient assessments and timely reassessments.
• Manage daily inventory of medicines and equipment.
• Deliver pre‑ and post‑operative care according to protocols.
• Offer health education to patients as needed.
• Supervise IV class staff in patient hygiene, waste management, and routine care tasks.
• Prioritise emergency cases and coordinate with consultants and relevant departments.
• Ensure accurate departmental documentation and confidentiality of patient information.

Required profile

• Diploma in General Nursing & Midwifery or B.Sc. Nursing.
• Adherence to the specified dress code and ID‑card policy.
• Willingness to work duty hours as scheduled.
