Staff Nurse – ICU (Full-time)

About the role

We are seeking a full-time Staff Nurse to join the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) at EPIC Multispecialty Hospital in Ahmedabad. The role involves delivering high-quality nursing care to critically ill patients in a 24/7 critical care environment.

Key responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to ICU patients, including monitoring vital signs and assessing clinical status.
• Administer prescribed medications and manage intravenous therapies safely.
• Operate and maintain critical care equipment such as ventilators, patient monitors and infusion pumps.
• Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary team members to implement treatment plans.
• Accurately document patient records and nursing interventions.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families and the healthcare team.
• Support emergency admissions and ensure strict infection-control protocols are followed.

Required profile

• Relevant nursing qualification (GNM, B.Sc. Nursing or equivalent) with a valid nursing license.
• Prior experience in ICU or critical-care settings is highly preferred.
• Ability to remain calm and make sound decisions under pressure.
• Strong teamwork and communication abilities.

Required skills

• Proficiency in operating ventilators, patient monitors and infusion pumps.
• Knowledge of infection-control practices and ICU protocols.
