Staff Nurse – Full-time Position in Guwahati

About the role

We are seeking a dedicated Staff Nurse to join our healthcare team in Guwahati. The role involves providing comprehensive nursing care to patients, maintaining accurate medical records, and supporting patients and families in achieving optimal health outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Record medical history and symptoms of patients.
• Administer medication and prescribed treatments.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated patient care.
• Perform point‑of‑care tests and conduct nursing assessments.
• Monitor patients' health status and report changes.
• Provide bedside care and operate medical equipment safely.
• Maintain inventory of supplies and equipment.
• Educate patients and families on health maintenance and recovery.
• Attend regular in‑service education and training sessions.

Required profile

• Graduate with 1st division in 10th, 12th and a nursing qualification (GNM, BSc Nursing or M.Sc Nursing).
• 3 months to 5 years of nursing experience.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team and coordinate patient care.
• Initiative, moral support, and a compassionate physical approach to patients.
• Basic computer literacy.
