Staff Nurse – East of Kailash, New Delhi

About the role

The hospital is seeking a dedicated Staff Nurse to join the nursing team at its East of Kailash facility in New Delhi. The role involves delivering high‑quality patient care, administering prescribed medications, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure safe and efficient treatment.

Key responsibilities

• Administer prescribed medication and monitor patient responses.
• Provide nursing care in line with established clinical practice standards.
• Collaborate with physicians and other disciplines for coordinated patient care.
• Participate actively in quality‑improvement programs and continuous quality assurance activities.
• Maintain a safe environment by enforcing infection‑control policies and proper biomedical waste management.
• Perform initial and periodic patient assessments within defined time frames.
• Manage daily inventory of medicines and equipment.
• Deliver pre‑ and post‑operative care according to hospital protocols.
• Educate patients on health matters as required.
• Supervise IV class staff in routine patient care tasks and ensure proper documentation.
• Prioritise emergency cases and coordinate with consultants and relevant departments.

Required profile

• Diploma in General Nursing & Midwifery or B.Sc. Nursing.
• Adherence to the specified dress code and possession of a valid ID card.
• Willingness to work duty hours as per scheduled requirements.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality of patient and organizational information.
• Positive interpersonal relations with subordinates and senior staff.
