About the role

Apollo Hospitals is looking for an experienced Staff Nurse to join its clinical team. The role involves delivering comprehensive nursing care to patients across various departments, maintaining high standards of safety, comfort, and professional documentation.

Key responsibilities

• Record medical history and symptoms accurately.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care.
• Perform point‑of‑care tests and nursing assessments.
• Monitor patients’ health status and respond to changes.
• Provide bedside care and operate medical equipment safely.
• Educate patients and families on health maintenance and recovery.
• Maintain inventory of supplies and ensure proper documentation.
• Guide and supervise junior nurses during the shift.
• Participate in regular in‑service education and training.

Required profile

• Graduate in GNM Nursing, BSc Nursing or MSc Nursing with first‑division marks in 10th, 12th and graduation.
• Registered nurse with at least 5 + years of relevant experience.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team and lead junior staff.
• Commitment to patient‑centred care and continuous learning.

• Computer literacy for maintaining medical records.
• Proficiency in operating and caring for medical equipment.
