Staff Engineer – SSD Validation (Open to Persons with Disabilities)

About the role

We are looking for a Staff Engineer to lead SSD validation activities, with a focus on inclusivity for candidates with locomotor, low‑vision, or hearing disabilities. The role involves owning the end‑to‑end validation lifecycle for PCIe SSD products and ensuring compliance with industry standards.

Key responsibilities

• Provide technical ownership of product validation, reviewing and improving test plans, coverage, and efficiency across the SSD portfolio.
• Define and implement validation strategies, including test case creation, PASS/FAIL criteria, and shift‑left testing to catch failures early.
• Design and execute test automation frameworks, manage test schedules, and generate clear validation reports.
• Lead defect management by root‑cause analysis, reproducibility steps, and coordination with cross‑functional teams.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline or equivalent.
• 3+ years of hands‑on validation experience with a proven ability to craft robust test strategies.
• Deep knowledge of PCIe SSDs, NAND memory hierarchy, and NVMe protocol.
• Strong analytical skills to diagnose issues, determine root causes, and drive corrective actions.

Required skills

• Python scripting for test automation.

• Understanding of NAND storage technologies.
• Familiarity with NVMe protocol specifications.
