Staff Engineer - Automation & Manual Testing

About the role
The Staff Engineer will lead verification and validation activities, developing both manual and automated test solutions to ensure software quality throughout the SDLC.
Key responsibilities
- Develop verification and validation strategy and test plans aligned with project timelines.
- Create and maintain automated test frameworks using Python, Java, Selenium, Cucumber or Pytest.
- Perform exploratory and formal manual testing, execute test plans and verify bugs.
- Participate in agile ceremonies, contribute to test planning, estimation and continuous QA improvement.
- Execute non‑functional testing for accuracy, reliability and performance.
Required profile
- BE/B.Tech/ME/M.Tech in Computer Science, Electronics or Electrical Engineering.
- 7‑11 years of software testing experience (automation and manual).
- Hands‑on experience with test automation frameworks and scripting in Python and Java.
- Knowledge of SDLC, test methodologies, bug lifecycle and risk assessment.
