Staff / Dialysis Nurse

About the role

The Staff/Dialysis Nurse is responsible for delivering safe and effective dialysis treatment to patients under the guidance of nephrologists. This role involves comprehensive patient management before, during, and after each dialysis session.

Key responsibilities

• Assess patients' hemodynamic status, dialysis indication, vascular access and comorbidities prior to treatment.
• Monitor dialysis prescriptions, vascular access care, flow adequacy and any complications throughout the session.
• Communicate changes in patient condition to the dialysis doctor and recommend treatment adjustments.
• Maintain and supervise dialyzer reprocessing and ensure proper disinfection of haemodialysis machines.
• Enter and maintain accurate patient records for medical auditing.
• Check vital signs, educate patients about their disease and treatment, and answer their questions.
• Oversee the entire dialysis process, verify correct medication administration, and evaluate patient reactions.
• Support the dialysis team in delivering respectful, high‑quality care.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of nursing experience in dialysis or related settings.
• Positive attitude, teamwork orientation and strong patient‑handling skills.
