Stability Officer – Pharmaceutical

About the role

We are looking for a Stability Officer to support the analysis of stability and finished‑product samples in a pharmaceutical environment. The role involves generating compliant reports, maintaining critical laboratory equipment and ensuring data integrity throughout the testing process.

Key responsibilities

• Perform stability and finished‑product sample analysis and compile reports according to ALCOA procedures.
• Operate and maintain laboratory instruments such as dissolution testers, UV spectrophotometers, analytical balances, pH meters and sonicators.
• Ensure compliance with data integrity policies and Good Documentation Practices (GDP).
• Manage the stability chamber and associated tracking system, including sample charging and withdrawal per approved protocols.
• Document all activities accurately to support regulatory submissions.

Required profile

• B.Pharm, M.Sc. or M.Pharm degree.
• 2–4 years of experience in pharmaceutical stability testing or related laboratory work.
• Familiarity with ALCOA principles, GDP and regulatory requirements.

Required skills

• Operation of dissolution testing apparatus.
• Use of UV spectrophotometer.
• Analytical balance handling.
• pH meter and sonicator operation.
• Stability chamber management.
• Report writing following ALCOA guidelines.
