Sr QA Engineer

About the role

Invesco is seeking a Senior QA Engineer to lead quality initiatives for complex applications and platforms. You will work within Agile teams, shaping test strategies and ensuring high‑quality releases across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Define and lead end‑to‑end test strategies for applications, integrations and platforms.
• Analyze requirements and design documents to identify gaps and improve testability.
• Lead creation and maintenance of automated test suites for UI, API and backend services.
• Integrate automation frameworks into CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Jenkins).
• Execute functional, integration, regression, performance and security testing.
• Identify, document and track defects; facilitate root‑cause analysis with engineering teams.
• Provide quality insights through metrics, dashboards and trend analysis.
• Mentor junior QA staff and collaborate with developers, product owners and business stakeholders.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems or related field.
• 5‑10+ years of software QA or test engineering experience.
• Proven experience leading QA activities in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Experience designing or enhancing automation frameworks.
