Sr. Contract Manager

About the role

The Sr. Contract Manager will report to the Project Director and act as the PMC lead for contract administration, commercial management and contractual risk management on airport development projects. The role ensures effective contract implementation, protects the Employer’s interests and supports dispute avoidance and resolution.

Key responsibilities

• Administer and manage project contracts, maintain registers, and monitor contractor compliance.
• Lead change, variation and compensation event processes, assess Extension of Time requests and evaluate commercial impacts.
• Identify and mitigate contractual and commercial risks, maintain risk registers and develop mitigation strategies.
• Coordinate with Project Controls, Design, Construction, Procurement and Legal teams to resolve contractual matters throughout construction, testing and hand‑over.
• Support procurement activities, tender evaluations, contract negotiations and review of payment certifications.
• Prepare contractual reports, claims assessments, dashboards and status updates for senior leadership.

Required profile

• 15‑20 years of contract administration and commercial management experience on large airport or infrastructure projects.
• Proven leadership in claims management, variation assessment, change management and dispute resolution.
• Strong analytical, negotiation and stakeholder‑management skills with high professional integrity.

Required skills

• Expertise in FIDIC, EPC, Design‑Build, Item‑Rate and Lump‑Sum contracting frameworks.
• Claims management, variation assessment and Extension of Time evaluation.
• Procurement, tender evaluation and contract negotiation.
• Commercial reporting and data‑driven contract administration.
