Specialist - SAP Inventory Control Management

About the role

The Specialist – SAP Inventory Control Management ensures accurate, reliable, and compliant inventory management across global sites such as warehouses, yards, ports, and wind farms. Working with SAP ERP and related shipping systems, the role supports logistics operations, drives process improvements, and provides data‑driven insights through KPIs and reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Execute and control stock transactions in SAP ERP and global shipping systems.
• Maintain accurate inventory records across all locations and align physical movements with ERP transactions.
• Monitor stock reliability, enforce internal controls, and prevent discrepancies.
• Extract, validate, and analyse data from SAP and other sources to support KPI dashboards and regular reports.
• Prepare presentations using Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI, and SharePoint.
• Identify gaps in SAP inventory processes and support implementation of improvements.
• Manage and validate invoices through workflow systems, coordinating with internal stakeholders to resolve issues.
• Act as SAP inventory subject‑matter expert for cross‑functional, multicultural teams and handle special projects as required.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management or a related field; data science or analytics background is a plus.
• Minimum 3 + years of hands‑on experience with ERP systems, preferably SAP inventory/logistics modules.
• Experience in inventory control, logistics operations or material management.
• Business‑fluent English; German or Spanish are advantageous.

Required skills

• Advanced user of SAP ERP (inventory and logistics processes).
• Expert‑level proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including macro programming.
• Strong knowledge of PowerPoint, Power BI and SharePoint.
