Specialist for Digitalization in Service Charging and Data Analysis

About the role

BASF's Digital Hub Hyderabad develops digital solutions for BASF, creates new customer experiences and drives process efficiencies. This permanent, hybrid position is open to men, women and non-binary candidates and focuses on service charging and data analysis.

Key responsibilities

• Act as a competent advisor to management and internal customers on the service charging of the Global Digital Services unit and other service units.
• Ensure the monthly service charging through operating and developing the system landscape used.
• Carry out, coordinate and troubleshoot the regular monthly global service charging within the BASF Group.
• Communicate with stakeholders inside and outside Controlling to ensure monthly charging.
• Support the development of strategic measures, special initiatives and correct service charging.
• Identify optimization potential in charging, processes and systems, propose improvements and implement them independently.

Required profile

• Degree in business informatics with a focus on data models, ERP or controlling, or a comparable qualification.
• Strong IT affinity, analytical problem-solving skills and a pronounced affinity for numbers.
• Professional experience in controlling/accounting, ideally in internal service charging.

Required skills

• SQL and BI tools; writing and optimizing complex SQL queries.
• Programming: web services, Java, NetBeans, Kafka, Linux shell scripts, preferably PL/SQL with Oracle.
• Data analysis software and databases.
