Spa Receptionist

About the role

The Spa Receptionist will be the first point of contact for guests at our luxury resort in Madikeri. Working full‑time on‑site, you will ensure a smooth and relaxing experience from the moment guests arrive until they depart.

Key responsibilities

• Greet guests, manage check‑ins and check‑outs, and handle all front‑desk interactions.
• Answer telephone calls, schedule and confirm spa appointments, and respond to guest inquiries.
• Maintain accurate reservation and billing records using the spa’s management system.
• Coordinate with spa therapists and attendants to optimise service flow.
• Process payments, issue receipts and keep the reception area tidy and presentable.
• Promote spa services, current promotions and retail products to guests.
• Support the spa manager with clerical and administrative tasks as needed.

Required profile

• Strong customer‑service orientation with excellent communication skills.
• Professional phone etiquette and ability to manage multiple calls and appointments efficiently.
• Basic computer literacy and record‑keeping abilities.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a hospitality environment and remain calm during busy periods.
• High school diploma or equivalent; hospitality certifications are a plus.
• Fluent in English; flexible availability for shifts, weekends and holidays.
