Sous Chef (Commi 1) – Night Shift

About the role

Délifrance Hudson Lane is seeking an experienced Sous Chef (Commi 1) to join its kitchen team on the night shift. The role focuses on preparing and presenting Continental and European dishes while maintaining high standards of hygiene and safety.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, cook, and plate Continental and European cuisine.
• Ensure food quality, presentation, and consistency.
• Maintain strict kitchen hygiene and safety protocols.
• Collaborate with the kitchen team to handle high‑pressure service periods.
• Work a 10‑hour night shift (3:00 PM – 1:00 AM) consistently.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of professional kitchen experience.
• Specialist knowledge of Continental & European cuisine.
• Strong understanding of food preparation, cooking, and presentation.
• Good behaviour, discipline, and professionalism in the kitchen.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure and as part of a team.
• Willingness to work night shifts.
