Solutions Engineer – Amazon India Supply Chain

About the role

Amazon India is looking for a Solutions Engineer to invent, design and implement engineering solutions for complex material flow and human‑machine efficiency challenges across its fulfillment and transportation network. The role involves leading concept development, coordinating design efforts and working closely with vendors and internal teams to deliver cost‑effective solutions quickly.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate concept and design development for optimal solutions in equipment specification, material flow, process design, ergonomics, associate experience and site layout.
• Collaborate with vendors, suppliers and internal teams (Launch, Procurement, IT, WHS, Operations, etc.) to create innovative, high‑quality solutions.
• Conduct detailed design reviews after implementation and partner with WHS and Operations.
• Document designs, layouts, modules and standard operating procedures, and manage change control.
• Develop, document and update design standards in partnership with worldwide design teams.
• Build strong relationships with key partners and travel to multiple sites across India for stakeholder interactions.

Required profile

• Proven ability to lead concept and execution of intricate material handling solutions.
• Strong collaboration skills with multiple teams, vendors and suppliers.
• Willingness to travel across India sites and engage with technical and business leaders.
• Experience reviewing designs post‑implementation and updating standards.
