Solar PV Trainer

About the role

The Solar PV Trainer will lead classroom and hands‑on sessions to develop skilled technicians in solar photovoltaic installation, testing, commissioning and maintenance. Based in Vasind, Maharashtra, the role supports the growth of renewable‑energy expertise through practical and theory‑driven training.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver classroom and practical training on Solar PV installation, testing, commissioning and maintenance.
• Train candidates on rooftop, on‑grid, off‑grid and hybrid solar systems.
• Demonstrate installation, wiring, mounting structures, inverter installation and battery integration while adhering to electrical safety standards.
• Conduct practical sessions, prepare lesson plans, presentations, assessments and training materials.
• Evaluate trainee performance through theory and practical examinations.
• Maintain solar labs, training kits and equipment.
• Support workshops, certification programs and curriculum development.

Required profile

• Diploma, B.Tech or B.E. in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy or related field.
• Solar PV Installation certification (preferred).
• Minimum 2 years of experience in Solar PV installation, commissioning or technical training.
• Fluent in English or Marathi.
• Personal laptop for PPT‑based classroom sessions.
