Software Test Lead

About the role

The Software Test Lead will guide the technical vision and execution of software testing initiatives for Bosch Global Software Technologies in Bangalore. This senior role combines technical direction, test strategy implementation, and team leadership to ensure high‑quality delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Define and steer the technical vision for software testing projects.
• Implement test strategies, establish best practices, and set technical standards.
• Drive engineering efficiency, innovation, and community engagement.
• Anticipate technology changes and adapt quickly.
• Lead the team to meet quality and delivery KPIs.
• Estimate problem complexity and prioritize based on customer relevance.
• Conduct goal setting, performance evaluation, and competence development for the team.

Required profile

• 10‑13 years of experience in software testing and leadership.
• Strong background in engineering processes, methods, and tools.
• Proven leadership, communication, and networking abilities.
• Relevant certifications/knowledge such as LFG, BES‑PE, and problem‑solving expertise.
• BE or M.Tech degree.
