Software Technologist I - Security Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a highly skilled Application Security Engineer with strong software engineering experience in Java and/or C#/.NET. The role drives security throughout the software development lifecycle, designing, building, reviewing, and securing modern cloud‑native applications, APIs, and microservices. Collaboration with engineering, architecture, DevOps, cloud, and product teams is essential to embed security controls and ensure secure‑by‑design solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Develop secure software using Java, Spring Boot, Spring Security or C#, ASP.NET Core.NET Framework/.NET Core.
• Apply secure coding standards and perform threat‑modeling exercises.
• Conduct vulnerability risk assessments and triage findings from penetration testing.
• Implement identity and access management controls, including RBAC and secrets management.
• Ensure data protection and encryption across enterprise platforms.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT or equivalent.
• 5–8 years of experience in software engineering, application development, or application security.
• Minimum 3+ years of hands‑on experience implementing secure coding practices.
• Proven experience with enterprise‑scale applications and distributed systems.
