Software Leader – DXR (Digital X‑Ray)

About the role

Philips is seeking a senior Software Leader for its Digital X‑Ray (DXR) portfolio. You will drive the end‑to‑end software R&D organization, shaping strategy, development and delivery of AI‑enabled DXR products that deliver differentiated customer value.

Key responsibilities

• Lead global software engineering teams across front‑end, back‑end, platform and systems development, ensuring high‑quality, scalable, customer‑centric solutions.
• Own end‑to‑end software delivery and releases, managing clinical feature roll‑outs, service updates and third‑party integrations while maintaining compliance.
• Drive transformation toward Software Defined Systems, creating common platforms and reusable capabilities.
• Define and execute the AI vision and strategy, accelerating AI integration across products and engineering processes.

Required profile

• 15+ years of progressive software engineering and R&D leadership experience, including large, globally distributed teams.
• Proven success in transforming software organizations through modern engineering practices, automation and AI adoption.
• Strong customer‑centric and business mindset with ability to translate clinical needs into software priorities.
