About the role

The National Robotics Engineering Center is seeking a motivated roboticist to develop and deploy next‑generation mobile manipulation systems. You will work in a fast‑paced, innovative environment, turning advanced research concepts into robust, production‑ready robotic solutions for logistics, manufacturing, and automated science.

Key responsibilities

• Design, write, and maintain clean, high‑performance real‑time software for robotic applications.
• Conduct systematic analysis, profiling, and benchmarking to mature system performance.
• Generate high‑fidelity synthetic data and complex test‑bed scenarios using advanced simulation tools.
• Collaborate with hardware, systems, and domain engineers to translate physical requirements into scalable software.
• Participate in hands‑on integration, ensuring seamless interoperability between software components and hardware.
• Engage in rigorous code reviews, documentation, and CI/CD practices to uphold engineering standards.

Required profile

• BS in Computer Science, Engineering, Robotics or a related field.
• Strong problem‑solving mindset with a passion for building real robots that make measurable impact.
• Ability to thrive in multidisciplinary teams and fast‑changing project environments.
