Software Engineer (SDE 1/2) – Java Backend

About the role

We are seeking an SDE 1/2 to build robust, scalable backend microservices, implement high‑performance APIs, and contribute to production‑grade financial applications across the entire Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC). The role involves designing, implementing, and maintaining Java Spring Boot services for payment infrastructure.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain scalable REST APIs and backend microservices using Java and Spring Boot.
• Write clean, maintainable, testable code applying SOLID principles, OOP concepts, and design patterns.
• Collaborate across the full SDLC, including code reviews, automated unit/integration testing, and deployment.
• Work with relational and NoSQL databases to write optimized queries, maintain data integrity, and minimize latency.
• Troubleshoot system‑level issues across networks and operating systems to ensure maximum platform uptime.

Required profile

• Minimum 1‑4 years of full‑time graduate software engineering experience (excluding internships).
• Strong proficiency in Core Java (multithreading, collections, memory management) and the Spring/Spring Boot ecosystem.
• Solid grasp of OOP, SOLID design principles, data structures & algorithms, operating systems, and computer networks (HTTP/S, TCP/IP, REST).
• Working experience with SQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and ORM frameworks (e.g., Spring Data JPA, Hibernate).
• Proficiency with Git, build tools (Maven/Gradle), and unit testing libraries (JUnit, Mockito).
