Software Engineer – Java/J2EE & Angular

About the role

CTeBS, a leading provider of software solutions for the apparel manufacturing industry, is seeking a self‑driven Software Engineer to own complex features across its enterprise product suite. You will collaborate closely with the Software Architect and Associate Technical Manager to deliver high‑quality, well‑tested code that meets both business and technical requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and unit‑test features for core modules such as the Production Planning Engine and Payroll Calculation System.
• Translate technical design documents into clean, maintainable Java/J2EE code using Spring Boot and Hibernate.
• Write optimized SQL queries and stored procedures for MSSQL/Oracle, analysing execution plans to resolve performance bottlenecks.
• Build and maintain Angular components following established data‑flow and component‑architecture standards.
• Participate in code reviews, providing constructive feedback on maintainability, security, and correctness.
• Identify technical debt and propose targeted refactoring.
• Troubleshoot production issues, including memory leaks, slow queries, and logic defects.
• Document technical decisions and mentor junior developers through pair‑programming.

Required profile

• 5‑7 years of professional software development experience.
• Strong ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Excellent communication skills for articulating technical trade‑offs to both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.

Required skills

• Java / J2EE, Spring Boot, Hibernate, Multithreading.
• Angular component architecture and RESTful API integration.
• MSSQL or Oracle, stored procedures, indexing, query tuning.
• CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins or GitLab) and Git version control.
• Familiarity with Docker and code‑quality tools such as SonarQube (plus).
