Software Engineer – Java Developer

About the role

Join Dassault Systèmes' Software Application Development team in Pune to design, develop, and deliver enterprise solutions for automotive and aerospace customers. You will work on complex Java modules, collaborate with a globally distributed team, and interact directly with customers on production issues.

Key responsibilities

• Estimate, design, develop, and implement Java software modules and features.
• Debug, investigate, and resolve technical issues, providing innovative improvements.
• Document functional behavior, acceptance tests, and design specifications (PES/DES).
• Write, compile, and run unit tests; monitor KPIs and code quality metrics.
• Track usage metrics after deployment and incorporate customer feedback for continuous improvement.

Required profile

• B.Tech/M.Tech in Computer Science or related discipline with a strong academic record.
• 2–5 years of professional experience in Java development and enterprise software.
• Strong problem‑solving abilities, independent work ethic, and good communication skills.

Required skills

• Java, J2EE, APIs, JavaScript, HTML5.
• Web application development and client‑server architectures.
• Cloud services development and Oracle database management.
• AI/ML integration, data modeling (including RDF), and 3DEXPERIENCE architecture.
• Unit testing tools, software security, performance optimization, and SQL querying.
