As a Software Engineer III at JPMorgan Chase within the Consumer and Community Banking, you serve as a seasoned member of an agile team to design and deliver trusted market‑leading technology products in a secure, stable, and scalable way.

Key responsibilities

• Execute software solutions, design, development, and technical troubleshooting while thinking beyond routine approaches.
• Create secure, high‑quality production code and maintain algorithms that run synchronously with appropriate systems.
• Leverage enterprise‑authorized AI coding assist tools to improve code quality, delivery speed, and productivity.
• Apply knowledge of SDLC toolchain and AI‑assisted automation to enhance value realized by automation.
• Produce architecture and design artifacts for complex applications and ensure design constraints are met.

Required profile

• Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts with 3+ years of applied experience.
• Hands‑on experience in system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
• Experience developing, debugging, and maintaining code in a large corporate environment using modern programming languages and database querying languages.
• Hands‑on experience with enterprise‑authorized AI‑assisted development tools and ability to validate AI‑generated outputs.
• Understanding of responsible AI use, data sensitivity, and security expectations.
