Software Engineer II – Application SRE

About the role

This role reports to the leader of Platform Engineering & Site Reliability Engineering. You will build resilient cloud systems, automate operations, and ensure high reliability through robust monitoring and performance optimization. You will also lead incident response and foster a collaborative SRE culture.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in building and maintaining highly available, fault‑tolerant applications.
• Support the setup and maintenance of monitoring, logging, and alerting systems for proactive issue detection.
• Contribute to automation of infrastructure provisioning, configuration, and deployment.
• Help identify and troubleshoot performance issues, monitor system health, and support defining and tracking SLIs/SLOs.
• Participate in incident response, document post‑incident reviews, and implement preventive measures.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to promote SRE practices and continuous improvement.

Required profile

• 2–5 years of experience in Site Reliability Engineering within telecom or cloud infrastructure.
• Experience implementing SRE best practices, including incident management, monitoring, and automation.
• Ability to design and maintain observability solutions using tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, New Relic, and Dynatrace.
• Hands‑on experience with automation tools like Terraform, Ansible, Helm, and Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or OCI) and hybrid architectures.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem‑solving skills.
