About the role
Sandvik’s Mastercam team is looking for a Software Engineer I to help build and enhance its e‑commerce capabilities within the WordPress environment. Working under the guidance of a senior engineer, you will implement features, integrations and internal tools that support business workflows.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and maintain e‑commerce features, administrative interfaces, and third‑party integrations on WordPress.
- Design, code, test and deploy software to resolve defects and implement user stories.
- Participate in code reviews, collaborate with teammates, and communicate project status to stakeholders.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering or equivalent experience.
- 1–3 years of experience building web applications using PHP, JavaScript, HTML and CSS.
- Hands‑on experience creating custom WordPress themes or plugins.
- Familiarity with source‑control (e.g., Git), relational databases/SQL and agile development practices.
