Software Engineer - Android Kotlin

About the role

HARMAN Automotive is looking for an experienced Android Engineer to join its automotive software team. You will work on low‑level Android framework components and hardware abstraction layers that power next‑generation in‑vehicle infotainment and safety systems.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Android framework components.
• Implement Android HAL using AIDL interfaces.
• Adapt SELinux policies for new HAL implementations.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure smooth project execution.

Required profile

• 3‑6 years of professional Android development experience.
• Strong proficiency in C++ and deep knowledge of the Android framework.
• Ability to analyse and resolve complex technical issues.
