Software Development Engineer II – Digital Acceleration

About the role

Amazon.com is seeking a talented Software Development Engineer II to join the Digital Acceleration team. You will help enable AI, data, metrics and analytics at scale for multiple Amazon digital teams, building products around metadata management, privacy compliance, data quality and customer lifecycle analytics.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain enterprise‑scale, mission‑critical multi‑tiered applications.
• Build AI, analytics and data‑engineering products that support metadata management and privacy compliance.
• Ensure software reliability, scalability and operational excellence in a customer‑centric environment.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to deliver data‑driven insights and analytics.

Required profile

• 3+ years of professional software development experience (non‑internship).
• 2+ years of design or architecture experience, including design patterns, reliability and scaling.
• Full software development life‑cycle experience: coding standards, code reviews, source control, build processes, testing and operations.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
