Key responsibilities

• Develop large‑scale, fault‑tolerant distributed systems that optimize order fulfillment in Amazon fulfillment centers.
• Design, implement and maintain multi‑tiered software applications that interact with physical equipment such as conveyors and robots.
• Collaborate with multiple internal teams to deliver reliable services used by thousands of associates.
• Write high‑quality, production‑ready code in an object‑oriented language (C, C++ or Java) and participate in code reviews.
• Contribute to system reliability, scalability and performance improvements that impact Amazon’s top‑line revenue.

Required profile

• 3+ years of professional software development experience (non‑internship).
• Strong problem‑solving ability and solid foundation in algorithms, data structures and object‑oriented design.
• Experience designing or architecting reliable, scalable systems.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced development environment.
