Software Developer – Node.js & NestJS

About the role

We are seeking a highly skilled Software Developer with strong expertise in Node.js and NestJS to design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications and APIs. The role involves building high‑performance systems, integrating third‑party services, and collaborating with cross‑functional teams.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable backend applications using Node.js and NestJS.
• Build and consume RESTful APIs and microservices.
• Write clean, reusable, and maintainable code following best practices.
• Optimize application performance, scalability, and security.
• Collaborate with Frontend Developers, Product Managers, and QA teams.
• Integrate third‑party services, APIs, and payment gateways when required.
• Participate in code reviews and technical discussions.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve production issues.
• Implement authentication and authorization mechanisms such as JWT and OAuth.
• Contribute to architecture and technical design decisions.

Required profile

• 4–6 years of hands‑on backend development experience.
• Strong proficiency in Node.js and the NestJS framework.
• Experience with JavaScript (ES6+) and TypeScript.
• Solid understanding of REST APIs and microservices architecture.
• Experience with PostgreSQL, MySQL or similar relational databases.
• Knowledge of Redis, caching mechanisms, and message queues.
• Familiarity with Docker and containerised deployments.
• Proficiency with Git and version control systems.
• Understanding of software design patterns and clean architecture principles.
• Knowledge of API security, authentication, and authorization practices.
