Software Developer – Backend Services (Hybrid, Hyderabad)

About the role

We are looking for a Software Developer to design, build, and maintain backend services that power our product across diverse customer environments. The role is hybrid, requiring three days per week in our Hyderabad office.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain code for backend services and supporting components.
• Identify refactoring opportunities and implement incremental architectural improvements.
• Create and run automated unit tests; verify code meets technical specifications.
• Perform peer code reviews and contribute to development standards and processes.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to plan work, solve complex problems, and make technical decisions.
• Contribute to delivery pipeline implementation, including test automation, security, and performance.
• Provide troubleshooting support for production issues, using logs and diagnostics.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience with strong foundations in data structures, algorithms, and software design.
• Hands‑on experience developing software in Windows or Linux environments.
• Proven ability to deliver high‑quality software within release timelines.

Required skills

• Proficiency in one or more general‑purpose languages: Java, C, C++, C#, Objective‑C, Python, JavaScript.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS is a plus).
• Exposure to modern UI frameworks such as Angular (optional).
• Experience with Windows and Linux development environments.
• Knowledge of open‑source tools, build environments, delivery‑pipeline tools, test automation, and continuous integration.
