Software Architect – VM Brakes (Indian OEM)

About the role

Bosch Global Software Technologies is seeking an experienced Software Architect to lead the development of VM Brakes solutions for an Indian OEM. You will shape system and subsystem designs, ensure compatibility across hardware and software domains, and drive technical excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Design and analyze system and subsystem architectures, translating requirements into technical specifications.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams (calibration, hydraulic, hardware, sensor, software, testing) to guarantee system performance.
• Define, document, and maintain software architecture artifacts.
• Identify and resolve system issues throughout the development lifecycle.
• Perform system‑level testing, validation, and troubleshooting as needed.
• Receive, analyze, and document problem reports, investigate root causes, and coordinate resolutions with development, testing, and quality teams.
• Maintain a problem database and produce regular reports on trends and resolution times.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electronics Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 10+ years of experience in software development and system architecture.
• Experience with brake system product portfolios and automotive OEM environments (preferred).
