Social Media Manager

About the role

Vedic Gems is building a new brand in the astrological gemstone space and needs a seasoned Social Media Manager to shape its online presence. You will lead owned channels, grow community engagement, and drive influencer collaborations to establish authority and trust.

Key responsibilities

• Own and grow Instagram, YouTube, Reddit, and Quora channels – develop content calendars, maintain posting cadence, and increase audience size.
• Manage WhatsApp community groups – drive engagement, prompt reorders, and share product updates.
• Build genuine authority within astrology communities on Quora and Reddit.
• Monitor brand mentions across platforms and respond promptly.
• Identify, onboard, and brief authentic creators; ensure compliance with ASCI guidelines and IGI certification.
• Track influencer attribution and performance metrics.
• Align monthly content calendar with the Growth Head and brief the Content Writer for supporting blog posts.
• Produce weekly channel and influencer snapshots and monthly growth, influencer, and community health reports for the Growth Head.

Required profile

• Minimum 6 years of experience in influencer and community management, having run end‑to‑end programmes.
• Demonstrated ability to manage influencer outreach, briefing, content review, and compliance.
