Social Media Manager / Assistant Manager

About the role

The Bharti Airtel Foundation is seeking a dynamic professional to lead and support its social media initiatives for TheTeacherApp. You will work closely with educators, partners, and internal teams to amplify the brand’s presence and drive meaningful engagement across digital and offline channels.

Key responsibilities

• Build visibility for “TheTeacherApp” within educator communities.
• Strengthen partnerships through coordinated offline and online engagement activities.
• Maintain consistent brand communication across all channels.
• Support campaign planning aligned with the National Education Policy (NEP) and teacher development themes.
• Drive community engagement through innovative outreach initiatives.
• Execute any additional tasks assigned by the manager to achieve the above goals.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Education, Media, or a related field.
• 2–5 years of experience in marketing, brand activations, social media management, or event coordination.
• Proven experience planning and executing campaigns, conferences, or school‑engagement activities.

Required skills

• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet monthly timelines.
• Familiarity with digital marketing tools, social media platforms, reporting trackers, and engagement analytics.
• Strong communication and stakeholder‑management capabilities.
• Social media planning, content coordination, and audience‑engagement expertise.
• Event management and on‑ground activation coordination.
• Creative thinking for designing impactful campaigns.
• Analytical and reporting skills to track performance and outcomes.
